BORNE Theatre: Poster & Form Card

BORNE was a moving and powerful musical theatre production presented by Spinal Cord Injury Ontario and the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. This one-of-a-kind event was held to raise awareness and funds for those living with a spinal cord injury, as well as for research in this field.

As part of our involvement with this event, we had the privilege of attending some of the rehearsals and experiencing the play firsthand. Combining this experience with a limited number of photos, we were able to develop a look-and-feel for the promotional materials, including the poster and form card buck-slip.

The play itself was an incredible display of talent and passion, featuring a diverse cast of performers who brought their unique perspectives and experiences to the stage. It explored the challenges and triumphs of living with a spinal cord injury, while highlighting the resilience and strength of the human spirit.

Through the power of music and theatre, BORNE was able to connect with audiences on a deep and emotional level, inspiring them to support this important cause and make a difference in the lives of those affected by spinal cord injuries.

“That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex; you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”

“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
