Designing a Powerful Newspaper Ad for SCI Ontario
This newspaper ad was part of a campaign to raise awareness about spinal cord injury.
The organization organized a photo session with a model who is paraplegic to use in the design, which was intended to capture the reader’s attention in a small space on the page.
The ad was published in the Globe and Mail newspaper, reaching every city in Ontario, Canada, to help spread the word about the importance of supporting those with spinal cord injuries.

“That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex; you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”
“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
